đź’¬ Studio-Truths & Personal Reflections

Jul 20, 2025

Owning a yoga studio isn’t just about schedules, playlists, and poses — it’s about people, community, growth, and a whole lot of lessons (sometimes learned the hard way). It’s not all incense and zen, but it is full of heart. Here are a few honest truths and personal reflections from this wild, wonderful journey.

  1. If you were my close friend, I’d tell you I don’t just teach yoga—I live it. Every class I guide comes from my own mud, my own healing.
  2. I wish more people knew that yoga isn’t about touching your toes—it’s about coming back to yourself.
  3. Sometimes I wonder if people realize how much love, energy, and behind-the-scenes heart goes into running this studio—it’s more than a business. It’s my soul’s work.
  4. It’s not always easy holding space for others while I’m still figuring out my own balance. But I do it because I believe in this work. Deeply.
  5. If you were my close friend, I’d tell you that some days my eyes well up after class—not because I’m sad, but because I’m overwhelmed by the beauty of witnessing people come home to themselves.
  6. I’d admit that creating a space for others to breathe, move, and be seen is both my calling and the thing that’s healed me the most.
  7. I don’t care if you can do a handstand. I care if you can show up for yourself. That’s the yoga that matters.
  8. If I could whisper one thing into the heart of every person who walks through our doors, it would be: you’re already enough—exactly as you are.

Namasté,
